My husband is currently in trial in Ventura county for a case in which he is actually innocent. But the judge wont even give him his legal right to cross examine the police officer. Also after every single objection our lawyer did, the judge wouldn’t allow it, even when the witness (accuser) changed his story, that objection was over ruled. What do I do? My husband is going to go to prison for a case he did not commit, and now the judge is being unfair. I even found out that the detective from the case was my ex-fiance’s brother whom use to beat me. (the ex, not the cop). And the detective is probably doing this just for revenge. But again the judge wont allow us to cross examine him. He didn’t even show up. Please HELP!
